30-year-old man escape unhurt in accident at Near East Road in Lefkosa

A young man was lucky to come out unhurt following an accident that happened in Lefkosa in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The incident happened at about 1:20am on Thursday on the Near East Boulevard double lane road.

According to police report, the driver of the car, a 31-year-old Nigerian was driving on the road when he lost control of the wheel as a result of carelessness.

He hit the paving stones on the left side of the road and then the advertising boards on the roadside which caused the vehicle to fall on one side before coming to a stop.

Initial report said the driver of the vehicle was no where no be found when two ambulances arrived the scene of the accident

No one was injured in the accident.
