Two Turkish men broke into woman's apartment in Tatlisu, stole money and gadgets

Two Turkish men were arrested on suspicion of illegally entering a woman’s residence in Tatlısu, tied her hands, gagged her mouth, battered her and then stole her cash and property.

According to the report by local media, the incident happened on Sunday August, 1 in her apartment in Tatlisu while she was sleeping.

The two suspects, identified only as H.Ç, 41 and İ.A.K, 41, allegedly entered Sandra Whyte’s residence through an unlocked sliding window at around 11:30pm on Sunday night. 

She was bound and gagged during the incident. 

The two men stole 500 TL and £500 cash, a laptop, the ignition keys to her car and the front door key. They then fled the scene. 

The police are continuing their investigations and are seeking a third person believed to have been involved in the assault and robbery.
