TRNC extends night time curfew until August, 10
The TRNC government have extended the partial night time curfew in place from 12:00am to 5:00am until August, 10.
According to the order in accordance with the partial curfew imposed to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, it is forbidden to go out every night from 12:00am to 5:00am until August, 10.
Private sector employees working to meet basic needs and those who will perform essential services in the public sector, such as police, fire brigade, municipality, civil defense, health workers, etc., will be exempt from the partial curfew.
Except for these people, everyone have to obey the ban.
Those who do not comply with the partial curfew will be prosecuted within the framework of the current legislation.
-Retail and merchandising services and all services / sectors not specified as closed will open for service between 8:30am and 9:00pm.
-Markets will be opened between 7:00am and 11:00pm everyday of the week.
-Restaurants, cafes, patisseries, buffets and taverns will continue their services between 6:00am and 11:30pm.
-All transactions related to the supply chain will be carried out between 8:00am and 9:30pm.
