Attention to power interruption in some region in North Cyprus on Friday

The Turkish Cypriot Electricity Authority (KIB-TEK) has announced that there will be blackouts in some regions on Friday.

Lefkosa, the Kermiya crossing point and the areas to the south of Vedat Benzinci will not receive electricity for about 5 hours on Friday, August, 20.

According to the statement by the Turkish Cypriot Electricity Authority, Lefkosa Regional Directorate, there will be a power cut in the areas to the south of Metehan Border Gate and Vedat Benzinci between 9:00am and 2:00pm due to the project work to be carried out on the medium voltage electricity network tomorrow.

In the statement, it was requested to act as if there is electricity in the network at all times, since electrical energy may be supplied later or earlier than the specified time depending on the course of the work.
