Another record 199 new cases of coronavirus and 1 death reported in TRNC on Monday, 185 are local cases

Another record number of coronavirus cases were recorded in northern Cyprus on Monday as 199 new cases and one death were reported bringing the total number of cases there so far to 13,861 and deaths to 44.

20,741 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours and 199 new cases were confirmed.

1 of the cases came to the TRNC by air, 13 persons came in contact with previous cases who are under surveillance, and 185 were local cases.

Of the cases, 70 were from Lefkosa, 56 from Kyrenia, 48 from Famagusta, 4 from Güzelyurt Region, 3 from Lefke, 4 from Iskele and 1 from abroad.

105 people were discharged from the hospital after completing treatment.
