17-Year-old escaping from quarantine in Kyrenia broke his neck

A 17-year-old man who escaped from the quarantine hotel where he was staying in Kyrenia and went to the sea, broke his neck after falling from the rocks. 

According to report released by the police, the 17-year-old, left his hotel where he was being quarantined on Monday afternoon and went to the sea to swim.  

He then fell from the rock and broke his neck.

He was rushed to the hospital where he's currently receiving treatment. 

Police continue its investigation into the incident.
