1 Death and 25 new cases of coronavirus were reported in TRNC on Friday, 21 are local cases

One death and 25 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Northern Cyprus on Friday, which brings the total number of deaths there so far to 35 and cases to 7,720.

9,202 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours and 25 new cases were confirmed.

1 of the cases came to the TRNC by air, 3 persons came in contact with previous cases who are under surveillance, and 21 were local cases.

Of the cases, 7 were from Lefkosa, 12 from Kyrenia, 1 from Famagusta, 2 from Güzelyurt Region, 1 from Lefke and 1 from abroad.

A 57-year-old male patient who has been receiving treatment at the intensive care unit since May 27, passed away on Friday. The patient had diabetes, blood pressure, end-stage renal disease (Dialysis) and coronary artery disease.

19 people were discharged from the hospital after completing treatment.
