TRNC introduces summer tariff on electricity, to start on June, 1
The summer electricity tariff will start on June, 1 and will continue until October, 31, 2021.
According to the new application, the cheapest hours in electricity will bee between 11:00pm to 9:00am on weekdays; and between 2:00am to 9:00am on weekends and other public holidays.
The time periods when the highest fee will be paid are between 9:00am to 6:00pm on weekdays; and between 2:00pm to 6:00pm on weekends.
Different fees will be applied between 6:00pm and 11:00pm on weekdays, which are defined as normal hours, and between 9:00am and 2:00pm and 6:00pm to 2:00am on weekends and public holidays.
According to the tariff in off-peak hours during the week, the price per kilowatt / hour of electricity is 0.6508 TL, and the rate in normal hours is 0.9873 TL; while rush hour costs 1.2908 TL.
On weekends and public holidays, the price per kilowatt / hour will be 0.6308 TL during off-peak hours, 0.9873 TL in normal hours and 1.2708 TL in peak hours.
Subscribers with an electricity bill below 300 kilowatts will benefit from a 15 percent discount.
