Strict measures will be implemented for Ramadan Bayram - Prime Minister

Strict measures will be implemented in the TRNC for the Ramadan Bayram, Prime Minister Ersan Saner said on Wednesday.

The measures will be announced on Friday.

Responding to a question whether there will be an opening on Sunday, Saner by reminding that Turkey is under full lockdown until the end of Bayram and South Cyprus for 15 days said no one should focus on Sunday.

Explaining that the decisions taken by the Higher Committee for Infectious Diseases on Wednesday will be discussed at the Health Ministry on Thursday, the Premier added that the Council of Ministers will convene on Friday.

Reminding that the Ramadan Bayram will be celebrated next week, Saner said strict measures should be taken for 10 days in order not to risk the summer months.
