Pharmacies working hours in the TRNC have been changed to summer working hours.
The Cyprus Turkish Pharmacists’ Association announced the new summer time working hours of pharmacies throughout the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
According to the working hours, pharmacies in Lefkoşa, Mağusa, Girne, Güzelyurt and Lefke will be open between 8:00am and 5.30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
On Thursday and Saturday the pharmacies in these regions will be open between 8am and 1.30pm.
On duty pharmacies will be open on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 5.30pm to midnight and 1:30pm to midnight on Thursdays and Saturdays.
On Sundays they will be on duty from 8am till midnight.
Pharmacies will not be providing on-call services during the summer months.
Meanwhile summer working hours for the Mesarya and Karpaz area from Monday to Friday will be between 8am to 8pm and 8am to 4pm on Saturdays.
On-duty pharmacies on Sundays and public holidays will be open from 10am till 4pm.
In the İskele region summer time working hours from Monday to Friday will between 8am and 8pm.
Pharmacies in the İskele District will be open from 8am to 4pm on Saturdays 10am to 4pm on Sundays or public holidays.
On-call services will be available from 8-10pm throughout the week
While all pharmacies will be operating in accordance with Covid-19 measures, priority will be given to customers over the age of 60 or those with prescription medicine for fever or coughs.
These working hours will be valid as of today until September 12.
