Every Sunday curfew and restrictions in TRNC has been lifted

The usual Sunday total lock down across the TRNC has been lifted starting from Sunday, May, 23, 2021, said TRNC Prime Minister, Ersan Saner on Thursday.

Saner made the announcement during a media chat with state broadcaster, BRT on Thursday evening. 

Starting from Sunday, May, 23, 2021, there will be no restrictions and daytime curfew while the normal week-day, night time curfew from 10:00pm to 5:00am will be applied on Sundays.

As such, markets will be allowed to open on Sundays.

A decision in this direction will be taken in the council of ministers meeting on Friday.
