TRNC announces NOTAM for additional flight to Ercan
A NOTAM announcing that four (4) charter flights per week are now permitted from abroad to Ercan Airport starting from Thursday, April, 15 in line with the decisions taken by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Communicable Diseases Supreme Committee on closed hotel tourism (Notice to Aviators) has been release.
According to the aforementioned NOTAM, passengers coming to the TRNC on charter flights will need to have negative results PCR test documents with QR code taken within the last 72 hours before the flight.
In the statement, it was announced that businesses that have signed a commitment to comply with the decisions of the Communicable Diseases Supreme Council can benefit from the permission given to charter voyages.
The NOTAM to be published by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport on charter voyages will be valid from Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 00:01, to April 30, 2021, at 23:59.
Accordingly, four charter flights will be available to Ercan Airport during the time period starting at 00:01 every Monday and ending at 23:59 on Sunday, including the week we are in, until April 30, 2021.
According to the current NOTAM on scheduled flights, four scheduled flights per week will be allowed to land at Ercan Airport, with a maximum of 200 passengers each.
