Group of Bangladeshi and Nigerian nationals caught in Alayköy trying to enter south Cyprus illegally

Another group of Bangladeshi and Nigerian nationals were caught this week trying to illegally enter south Cyprus from a military forbidden zone in Alayköy.

The group of 8 Bangladeshi and Nigerian nationals were caught at about 9:25pm on Tuesday, April, 6.

The suspects were taken to a court in Lefkosa on Wednesday on charges of violating a first degree Military Forbidden Zone in Alayköy. 

Police stated that the group voluntarily admitted his guilt by giving a statement.  

They were detained for one day for investigative purpose.
