All Cypriots told to turn off the light for 1 minute for 3 days

A group known as "This Country Is Ours Platform" has called on all Cypriots to turn off the light for one minute at 9:30pm across the island on Tuesday, April, 27, Wednesday, April, 28 and Thursday, April, 29 as a way of showing its support for a federation-based solution on the island.

In a statement published by the Press Workers Union named Platform, it said  

Currently, all relevant actors are in Geneva for the 5 + 1 Summit. We invite all our people to participate in the one-minute light-off action that will be held on 27-28 and 29 April at 9:30pm in order to influence the talks that will start on April 27 and raise awareness about our demand for federation.

The statement continued;

We will walk together on the way of the Federation once again, thanks to the action 'One minute of darkness for bright tomorrows in Federal United Cyprus'.
