1 Death and 67 New cases of coronavirus were reported in TRNC on Monday, 55 are local cases

One death and 67 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Northern Cyprus on Monday which brings the total number of deaths there so far to 29 and cases to 5,583.

7,625 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours and 67 new cases were confirmed.

2 of the cases came to the TRNC by air, 10 persons came in contact with previous cases who are under surveillance, and 55 were local cases.

Of the cases, 23 were from Lefkosa, 18 from Kyrenia, 13 from Famagusta, 1 from Iskele and 2 from abroad.

102 people were discharged from the hospital after completing treatment.

A 91-year-old female patient who was admitted on March 27, 2021 after she was diagnosed coronavirus died on Monday.

The patient had diabetes, hypertension, and heart failure.
