21 irregular migrants found at sea in Northern Cyprus

21 irregular migrants were detected in boat off the coast of Koruçam cape, Northern Cyprus on Thursday.

The Security Forces Command (GKK) in a statement on Thursday, announced that 21 irregular migrants were detected in the vicinity of Koruçam cape.  

They were detected based on information received by Coast Guard Command and the General Directorate of Police within the scope of the reconnaissance and patrol missions joint operation. 

The 21 irregular migrants, including 13 children, 3 women and 5 men, were delivered to the Turkish Coast Guard elements at sea.
