One death and 27 New cases of coronavirus reported in TRNC on Wednesday, 18 are local cases
27 new cases of Covid-19 and one death were reported in Northern Cyprus on Wednesday which brings the total number of cases there so far to 3,132 and death to 21.
3,590 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours and 27 new cases were confirmed.
3 of the cases came to the TRNC by air, 6 persons came in contact with previous cases who are under surveillance, and 18 were local cases.
Of the cases, 13 were from Lefkosa, 8 from Kyrenia, 3 from Güzelyurt Region and 3 from abroad.
An 82-year-old male patient died from complications from Covid-19, on Wednesday. The patient had been in intensive care since 13 February, suffering from hypertension, arrhythmia and heart failure.
53 people were discharged from the hospital after completing treatment.
