Woman gives birth to baby girl fathered by her stepson

A weight-loss influencer who traded in her husband for her stepson has announced the birth of their first child together. 

Marina Balmasheva, 35, from Russia, married her new husband Vladimir 'Vova' Shavyrin, now 21, ahead of welcoming their baby girl, who has not yet been named. 

The Russian blogger - with more than half a million followers on Instagram - has known Vladimir since he was seven after previously being married to his father Alexey Shavyrin, 45, who now cares for their five adopted children. 

She divorced Alexey after 10 years together and he has previously accused her of seducing his son when he came home on holiday from university.

Marina and Vladimir's little girl was born yesterday in the maternity hospital in Krasnodar, weighing slightly over 8lbs.

Her new husband Vladimir was not present at the birth. It is unclear if this is due to COVID-19 restrictions or personal choice. 

 

Marina posted pictures of her daughter to her many fans but said her partner had instructed her not to show the girl's face. 

Dad does not want to show our daughter yet, she said. 'That's why the view is only from the back… We are thinking about the name.

Marina said she was a 'complete mess' after the birth yesterday which followed her waters breaking as she watched Game of Thrones. 

Everything is very good with us,' she said. '[The baby] did not sleep too well at night, but [she] has been sleeping since 6am.'
