TRNC ready for any possible disasters - Ersin Tatar

The TRNC state with all of its institutions is prepared for any possible disaster that may occur in the country, President Ersin Tatar said following the scare caused by the earthquake that rattled Cyprus on Thursday.

Tatar said that the 5.2 magnitude earthquake that hit the country was felt in many areas around the island adding that the absence of any loss of life is our greatest comfort. 

I extend my well wishes to all of our citizens. Our state, together with all of its institutions, is always ready and prepared for possible disasters said Tatar.
