11 people arrested for violating curfew in TRNC

11 people were arrested on Thursday night in several parts of the TRNC for violating government imposed curfew.

The 11 people violated the curfew between the hours of 10:00pm on Thursday - 5.00am on Friday.

The measure was introduced earlier in the week to curb the spread of coronavirus in the country.

Legal action was taken against the aforementioned persons. The police investigation into the incident continues.
