TRNC to celebrate it's 37th anniversary on Sunday
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will celebrate it's 37th anniversary on Sunday, November, 15.
The day will be celebrated with a variety of events across the country.
Ceremonies will also be held at the mausoleum of the late Turkish Cypriot leader Dr. Fazıl Küçük’s mausoleum and at the TMT Monument due to ongoing construction of the mausoleum of the late founding President Rauf Raif Denktaş.
The first ceremony on Sunday will take place in front of the Lefkoşa Martyrs’ Monument at 8am.
A second ceremony will be held at the Atatürk Monument at 12 noon followed by the main parade at the the Dr Fazıl Küçük Boulevard at 12:30pm. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing measures will be in place during the main ceremony on Sunday.
Wearing face masks will also be mandatory throughout the ceremony. Ceremonies will also take place in other parts of the country.
