Student robbed of his cash, phone and laptop in Lefkosa

Two people has been arrested for robbing a student of his money and electronics at his apartment in Lefkosa.

According to police report, the incident happened at about 8:00pm on Monday, November, 16 when the suspect went to the his residence, knocked on the door, entered the apartment without permission, assaulted him and violently took away cash of 6400 Euro, laptop and mobile phone and fled the scene.

The suspect was arrested following the incident.

A 32-year-old who was found to have a connection with the person in question and the incident, was later arrested.

Police are investigating the incident.
