TRNC Election: Akinci go head to head with Tatar in second round of presidential elections on Sunday

The second round of the presidential elections in North Cyprus will be held on Sunday, October, 8 between incumbent leader, Mustafa Akinci and Prime Minister Ersin Tatar.

The two candidates gained the most votes during the first round of the presidential elections held last week Sunday.

Political party candidate, the UBP candidate Ersin Tatar, will be listed in first place and independent candidate Mustafa Akıncı will be listed in second place on the ballot paper. 

All citizens who will be casting their vote this Sunday will have to wear a mask in line with the precautionary measures taken against the spread of COVID-19 and voters will be provided with disposable gloves and disinfectants.

Ballot stations will open at 8am and voting will end at 6pm.
