Two girls fight dirty at Hangover bar in Lefkosa, one left with broken head

Two girls have been arrested and one of them detained for fighting over a guy and inflicting injury on themselves.

According to report, the two suspects, the first a 25-year-old and the second, a 24-year-old who were arrested and taken to a court in Lefkosa on Monday had a quarrel over a boyfriend issue.

According to police prosecutor who testified to the issue in court, the two girls at about 2:30pm on Monday, September, 7 were within the premises of Hangover Bar located on Osman Paşa Street in Lefkosa when one of them reportedly attacked the other. This resulted to fight between them. The first suspect reportedly took a champagne bottle on the table and hit the second suspect on the head causing a 3cm wound in the right temple.

She was arrested by the police on a court order.

Police in their investigation said that both girls are residing in the island illegally but other report said it's not true as they both have resident permits and active students.

The first suspect was ordered by the court judge to be sent to prison for a period not more than 21 days. 

The second was released on bail of 10,000 Turkish Lira in cash and will report to the police station twice a week and banned from traveling abroad.
