Some covid-19 patients to be airlifted to Turkey for treatment, Prime Minister, Ersin Tatar

Some covid-19 patients in the TRNC will be airlifted to Turkey for treatment, Prime Minister, Ersin Tatar has said.

Prime Minister Ersin Tatar who made the announcement on Wednesday said that with the efforts carried out by the government and the support given by Turkey all problems can be overcome. 

Reminding that Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay had said on the 27th of August that Turkey would not allow any hardships to be experienced by the TRNC health system and therefore if there is an increase in the number of COVID-19 patients in the country they would transport them to Turkey via ambulance planes.

Prime Minister Tatar said that within this framework patients were being transferred to Turkey.
