Narcotic police arrest 5 people for drug in Lefkosa, seize 20g of cocaine

Turkish Cypriot police seized 20 grams of cocaine, 2 kg of cannabis and 200 grams of synthetic drugs in an operation in Lefkosa at the weekend.

In the operation carried out by the Narcotics and Smuggling Prevention Directorate teams on Friday night, a substance believed to be a cocaine type drug weighing 20 grams, a substance believed to be a cannabis type drug weighing about 2 kilograms and a substance believed to be a synthetic cannabinoid type drug weighing approximately 200 grams were seized and 5 people were arrested. 

According to police report, the teams of the Narcotics and Smuggling Prevention Department confiscated the substances and arrested five people connected with the drugs.
