Couple stabbed by roommate in Paphos, south Cyprus

A couple was attacked with a knife in the centre of Paphos, southern Cyprus after a fight broke out on Thursday.

According to report by Greek Cypriot website, In-Cyprus, the incident happened at about 6:00pm on Thursday.

According to police report, the alleged attacker is said to be the couple’s flatmate and the reasons of the fight was unknown at the time of the report.

The couple was taken by ambulance to the Hospital. Report say the woman received more serious injuries to her leg and abdomen but their conditions were described as out of danger.

Investigation is ongoing.
