26 new cases anounced on Monday

26 new cases of coronavirus were reported in North Cyprus on Monday which brings the total number of cases there so far to 437.

TRNC Minister of Health Ali Pilli, stated that 1,811 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours and 26 positive cases found.

The Minister stated that 3 of the positive cases came to the TRNC by air,1 person by sea, 18 are those who came in contact with a previous case who are under surveillance and 4 were local cases.

They have started receiving treatment at the State Hospital Quarantine Service in Lefkosa. 

Three people were discharged from the hospital after completing treatment.

The Minister said; 

We are determined to make radical decisions. We showed this with the quarantine decision we implemented on Saturday. There has been various speculations. Respect the statements from us. The explanations from us are the most accurate explanation. It started to increase slightly in local cases.
