24-year-old student rescued from drowning at beach in Famagusta
According to information released by the Police Press Office, the person identified as Randy Ngwa TEGUEN, 24 who was at the Palm Beach in Famagusta to swim at around 7:00pm on Monday was about 8m from the shore.
He had a choking hazard and was rescued by citizens around.
He was given first aid treatment, and rushed to the Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu in Lefkosa where he was placed under observation at the intensive care unit.
Investigation is ongoing.
