19 new cases announced on Wednesday, 10 were local cases

19 new cases of coronavirus were reported in North Cyprus on Wednesday which brings the total number of cases there so far to 494.

TRNC Minister of Health Ali Pilli, stated that 1,214 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours and 19 positive cases found.

The Minister stated that 2 of the positive cases came to the TRNC by air, 1 person by sea, 6 are those who came in contact with a previous case who are under surveillance and 10 were local cases.
 
They have started receiving treatment at the State Hospital Quarantine Service in Lefkosa.

Ten people were discharged from the hospital after completing treatment.
