Police officer dies after falling off jet ski
A police officer who died last week end after falling off a jet ski in a Welsh harbor has been named as father-of-one Barry Davies.
Off-duty Mr. Davies, 50, died at the scene off the coast of Pwllheli, North Wales – his hometown – despite ‘extensive medical interventions’.
He was described as ‘dedicated officer and father’ who ‘loved his job’.
The alarm was raised shortly after 4.30pm on Saturday, with emergency services — including the Coastguard and RNLI attending — and the officer being retrieved from the water.
His next of kin have been informed, North Wales Police said. Chief Constable Carl Foulkes explained:
