Orange Weather Alert for Sunday - Temperatures to reach 43 degrees
The Cyprus Met Office has issued a high temperatures orange alert for
Sunday, as temperatures are expected to reach 43 degrees inland.
The warning is in force between 12:00pm and 5:00pm.
The increase in temperature which is higher than this time of year is due to the warm air currents that are currently affecting the area.
Temperatures are expected to reach 34 degrees in western and southwestern coastal regions, with 36 in the rest of the coastal regions and 34 on the mountains.
