Man jailed for one month for sending sexually explicit photos of his ex girlfriend to her mother

A Turkish man has been sent to prison for sending sexual photos of his ex girlfriend to her mother in Turkey.

The suspect, only identified as E.N committed the crime in March. He was arrested on Monday, August, 17 in accordance with a pending order obtained from the Lefkosa Nicosia District Court and taken to a court in Lefkosa for violating the privacy of his ex girlfriend. 

Police said the suspect violated the privacy of his ex girlfriend's life by sending sexually explicit photos of her to her mother via Whatsapp just because she did not want to continue with the relationship. 

The two have been dating between the period of March-July, 2020.

Police said the suspect was previously warranted by the Narcotics.

Judge Temay Sağer, who evaluated the testimony given, ordered the suspect to remain in prison for no more than 1 month.
