Man arrested for having sexual relation with a dog in Kyrenia.

A Turkish Cypriot man, has been arrested for having sexual relation with a dog in Kyrenia.

The man identified as Ahmet Gül committed the crime on Monday, August, 24 in Kyrenia. He was arrested and taken to court on charges of sexual relations with animals, obscene adoration and acting contrary to honor and morality. 

Police officer Mustafa Yanaroğlu who gave testimony at the Kyrenia Judicial Branch stated that the suspect Ahmet Gül was arrested for the crimes of sexual relations with animals, obscene exposure, and acting contrary to honor and morality in Kyrenia.

Yanaroğlu said at about 8:00am Monday, August, 24, in Kyrenia, the accused extended his sexual organ to the Labrador breed dog, that was kept in a wire cage under an apartment.

The suspect was arrested on the same day and that they took statements from people around.  

Yanaroğlu stated that the police had previously received complaints about the suspects wandering naked inside the house so that people outside could see.

Yanaroğlu stated that there was a camera recording of what happened during the act of the suspect against the dog.  

The police stated that an investigation was initiated against the suspect and that it will be investigated whether he has committed such a crime against dogs before.

The suspect, who spoke at the court, said he regretted it.
