Another nine new cases of coronavirus reported in TRNC on Tuesday

Another nine new cases of covid-19 were reported in the TRNC on Tuesday, which follows the nine reported on Monday bringing the total number of cases there so far to 230. 

Announcing the new development on Tuesday, TRNC Minister of Health Ali Pilli stated that 1,695 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours and nine positive cases recorded.

Pilli said that seven of the positive cases came to the TRNC by air, 2 by sea. Their contacts have been traced. They have started receiving treatment at the State Hospital Quarantine Service in Lefkosa. 

Meanwhile, seven people were discharged from the hospital after completing treatment.
