Yellow weather warning issued for Monday
The Cyprus Met office has issued a yellow weather alert of extremely high temperatures for Monday.
The warning will be in force between 1:00pm and 5:00pm.
The maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 41 degrees Celsius inland.
Some health risks among vulnerable people e.g. the elderly and very young are possible.
