Man caught on camera sexually assaulting a dog is arrested

The man who caught sexually abusing a dog in Famagusta has been caught and handed over to the police.

The man was caught on Thursday by the efforts of the Cyprus Animal Rights Association.

A statement made by the Cyprus Animal Rights Association said;

In the past days, a perverted person in Famagusta had sexually abused a dog in the middle of the street around 6:30 am! We waited for him to be caught for days and we could not stand anymore and went to Famagusta with our teammates today. When we watched the camera recordings and obtained a closer picture, we found this pervert and then reported his address to the Police. The police arrested the man. Now it's time for this man to be tried with the heaviest punishment !!!

According to Article 175 of the Criminal Code; Any person who deals with an animal commit a serious crime and may be sentenced to up to 3 years in prison. "
