Cyprus Weather Today: Temperatures to reach 39 degrees
Friday will be mainly fine while increased cloud will be noticed locally in the mountains around midday and in the afternoon.
A yellow alert again for extremely high temperatures in force from 12 pm to 5 pm.
Temperatures will reach 39 C inland, 33 C in the west, south and east coasts, 35 C in the north coast and 29 C in the mountains.
At night, temperatures tonight will edge down to 21 C inland, in the southeast and east coasts, 20 C in the other coasts and 18 C in the mountains.
On Saturday, the weather will be mostly clear in the afternoon, but locally increased clouds will be observed, mainly in the mountains.
The temperature is not expected to change significantly, remaining above seasonal average.
