A man who was quarantining in a hotel in Kyrenia escapes
A guest who was isolating in a hotel in Kyrenia after arriving the island on Sunday has escaped without waiting for his PCR test result.
According to information released on the social media account of The Arkin Colony Hotel in Kyrenia, a guest who lodged in the hotel on Sunday night, secretly escaped from the hotel early Monday morning.
The person is said to have entered the TRNC with a negative PCR test but left the hotel without waiting for a second PCR test result.
Hotel personnel repeatedly called his cell phone and could not be reached. Security camera records showed that he exited the hotel at about 10:09am on Monday morning without notifying the hotel management.
The hotel authorities quickly notified the Ministry if Health and the Kyrenia police department of the incident.
Four hotel personnel who came in contact with the guest were quarantined by the Ministry of Health for 14 days.
