TRNC customs officer who became unconscious while on duty at Ledras Palas Border later died on admission

A man who worked at Ledras Palas Border gate with southern Cyprus lost his life today after becoming unconscious while on duty at the border post in Lefkosa.

Fatih Öztürk, 44 who works as a customs officer at the Ledra Palas border gate in Nicosia today at 17.00, lost his life despite all the interventions at the Lefkosa Dr Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital, where he was suddenly carried to by an ambulance. 

The Investigation into the incident continues.
