Student trying to untie a dish antenna from a caravan arrested while trying to enter into a house in Lefkosa
An student was caught on camera trying to untie a dish antenna of a caravan in an open area in the Taşkınköy neighborhood in Lefkosa on Friday.
The incident took place at about 2:30pm on Friday.
A video shared by Turkish Cypriot daily, Havadis showed the suspect trying to untie a dish antenna connected to a caravan for 15 minutes.
The video was recorded by a resident in the neighborhood who reported the incident to the police.
According to an eyewitness, the suspected then left the caravan and went to knock on the door of a house in the neighborhood.
A woman who opened the door of the house screamed at the suspect which made him run away. He then went to another house and tried to enter it.
Police arrived the area at the time and and grabbed the suspect with the help of residents.
He was handcuffed and taken away.
