People entering TRNC from Turkey from July, 1 will be given free PCR test at Ercan Airport and isolated until results are available

Anyone entering the TRNC starting 1st of July from Turkey will also undergo PCR test at the airport and be placed in quarantine centers until the test results are available. 

TRNC Minister of Health  Mr Ali Pilli, made the announcement on Friday.

He responded to this after unconfirmed reports on social media said those coming from Turkey will not need the test.

Pilli announced that all passengers will be given a free PCR test at Ercan Airport, and that passengers will be isolated by signing an agreement at their accommodation or residence until the test result is available.

 Minister Pilli said that all the passengers will be informed in accordance with the isolation rules determined by the health authorities in the country
