Girne Municipality offers 50% discount to all tenants on it's properties in the region for four months amid coronavirus pandemic

Girne Municipality has offered a 50% discount to all tenants on it's properties in the region for four months to help with economic problems experienced by tenants of the municipality.

Girne (Kyrenia) Mayor, Nidai Güngördü and members of the Girne Assembly took the decision to give rent discount to tenants of the municipality on Tuesday.

According to information given by the Municipality of Kyrenia, it was stated that the Mayor of Girne Nidai Güngördü and the members of the Municipal Council decided to give a 50% rent discount to the tenants of the municipality with the decision numbered G-10/2020 for 4 months.  

Nidai Güngördü announced that a 50% rent discount will be applied during the Covid-19 pandemic period in the country covering the months of April - May - June and July.

***Good development but what we cant confirm is if the discounts is applicable to students and foreign residents in the region.
