Cost of living goes up in TRNC
The cost of living in the TRNC for the month of May has gone up by 0.75 per cent, according to the TRNC Statistic Department.
According to the General Consumer Price Index, the cost of living went up by 0.75 per cent compared to the previous month and 8.64 per cent compared to the same month last year.
The highest rise in prices was recorded in clothing with a 21.49 per cent rise.
The prices of 398 goods and services also went up compared to the previous month.
Prices also fell for 86 goods and services.
