Student who was rescued from drowning in Kyrenia, passes on

A 26-year-old student who went with friends to swim on Friday afternoon in the sea off Grine and almost drowned has died.

The victim identified as Junıor Ndawele Yanga, 26 was at the sea in Kervansaray region in Kyrenia with his friends to swim at about 3:15pm on Saturday when he almost drowned due to excessive sea wind.

He was rescued by his friends and resuscitated after which he was taken to Akçiçek Hospital in Girne and then transferred to Lefkosa State Hospital.   

He died moments later despite all the interventions.  

So sad!
