Pharmacies working hours changed in TRNC

Turkish Cypriot Pharmacists Association has announced working hours for the summer period. 

The Turkish Cypriot Pharmacists Association (KTEB) shared the new working hours of pharmacies to the public, pointing out that the office hours were changed for summer period, covering the period of May 18-September 13.

Summer pharmacy working hours for Lefkosa, Famagusta, Girne, Güzelyurt and Lefke Regions; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, will be between 08.00-17.30 on weekdays; It will be closed on Thursdays from 08.00-13.30 in the afternoon and will be opened on Saturdays beween 08.00-13.30.

The service hours of pharmacies during the summer period for Nicosia, Famagusta, Girne, Güzelyurt and Lefke Regions are as follows:

Weekdays: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 17.30-00.00, Weekdays Thursday 13.30-00.00, Saturday: 13.30-00.00, Sunday 08.00-00.00.

Pharmacies will not provide Call service during this period.

On the other hand, the summer time pharmacy working hours of Mesarya, Karpaz, İskele Regions are as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 08.00-20.00, Saturday 08.00-16.00 on weekdays, Sundays, Holidays and Public Holidays 10.00-16.00.

The Pharmacists 'Association announced that it was decided to change the hours of summer work due to the experience of how important my community's access to the drug was during the COVID-19 Pandemic period and the scientific committees' pandemic process had not yet ended.

The change of working hours of pharmacies during the summer period was published in the Official Gazette No 81 and May 13.

During the peiod, patient admissions to pharmacies will continue within the framework of pandemic measures implemented during the pandemic period; It was noted that patients with fever, cough, sneezing and over 60 years of age would be considered as priority.
