One death and two new coronavirus cases reported in south Cyprus
One death and two new coronavirus cases were reported in southern Cyprus on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 905 including 11 at British Bases.
The new causality is a 85-year-old woman who had underlying health conditions and was being cared for at the intensive care unit in Limassol.
This brings the total number of deaths there to 24. Of these, 17 died of coronavirus though many also had underlying health conditions. The rest had coronavirus when they died but it was not the cause of death with the average age for those who have died is now 71.4.
The two new cases concerns one person found through tracing of the contacts of positive cases and the other one from private initiative.
Three cases were reported on Tuesday.
