One death and four new cases of coronavirus reported in south Cyprus on Tuesday

Four new cases of coronavirus and one death were reported in southern Cyprus on Tuesday which brings the total number of cases there to 878 including 10 in British Bases.

The four new cases were confirmed from 1,250 tests carried out on Tuesday. 

Two of the cases were found through contact tracing, while another two were found among tests conducted on private initiative. 

The causality is a 56-year-old man who died early on Tuesday morning. he had underlying health issues. 

21 people have died in southern Cyprus, 15 died directly from the virus. They include 11 men and four women, with an average age of 73.
