No new case of coronavirus reported in TRNC on Thursday

For the 20th day in a row, no new case of coronavirus was reported in Northern Cyprus with the total number of positive cases remaining at 108.

1,415 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours and all came out negative, said the TRNC Health Minister Dr Ali Pilli in an announcement on Thursday. 

The Covid -19 tests are mainly performed on food industry employees and other sectors, cases leading to Gazi Famagusta State Hospital, Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital, Cengiz Topel Hospital and Girne Akçikcek Disease Fever and Cough Polyclinics. 

Results for 21 people, who were made to undergo further tests on Wednesday will be announce later, he said.

So far, 19,201 tests has been carried out in the TRNC with 108 confirmed cases and 4 causalities.
