All public offices in TRNC return to normal after two months break
All public offices in North Cyprus returned to normal working conditions, two months
after a lockdown was introduced as part of measures to prevent the
spread of coronavirus.
While essential services had continued to work during the lockdown, almost all government and public offices had been closed and public servants were put on administrative leave.
Several offices had opened earlier this month but were not operating at full capacity or offering normal services.
As of today, all civil servants returned to their posts. Offices will be operating according to summer working hours.
All public-sector offices from Monday to Friday, for the exception of Thursdays, will be open from 8am to 2:30pm.
Public offices on Thursdays will be open between 8am and 12:30pm and 1pm to 5:30pm.
